If
you must know one thing about me, know this: I absolutely love to
teach. Not only is teaching and getting to know my students one of my
many passions but it is a privilege doing so. As your teacher, I aspire
to make however long of a time you are in my classroom profitable
and to leave with great experiences for you. I originally am from Fort
Worth, Texas but have called McAllen, Texas home for the past 16 years
now.
I
am a University of Texas Pan American graduate and hold a Bachelors
Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Special Education. In May 2016, I obtained my Masters in Educational Administration from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I am also an Adjunct lecturer at UTRGV for the Department of Teaching and Learning. This 2020-2021 school year will be my 13th year with the Sharyland ISD district and my 10th year teaching.
I know we are all nervous and scared how we will be successful in school with transitioning from face-to-face learning to virtual learning, but I want to comfort parents and students that we are going to try our best to ensure we provide the best education possible during these trying times.
When
I am not preparing for school, I enjoy caring for and serving my
family.
